Village of Richfield issued the following announcement on April 18.

If these individuals come to your door, they will be prepared to provide photo identification showing that they work for “Associated Appraisals” and will also be carrying a letter from the Village of Richfield permitting their fieldwork. Additionally, all individuals working for Associated Appraisals will be driving a red fleet vehicle clearly marked with the “Associated Appraisals” company name.

Please note, any other permitted door-to-door solicitors in the Village will have submitted paperwork with the Village and will have been issued a “Peddler’s Permit”. These individuals will be able to present this permit at all times when going door-to-door. Information regarding these solicitors will often be posted on the Village’s website as well.
