Froedtert West Bend Hospital issued the following announcement on March 23.

Five primary care providers who have been practicing in the Cedarburg area for many years will join Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network.

Primary care physicians Kevin Goniu, MD, and Christopher Budny, MD, will see patients at new locations starting in April and May. They will be joined by advance-practice providers Melanie Opel Plante, APNP, Katy Rodberg, APNP, and Liz Sehnert, PA.

“We continue to grow our primary care provider base in the Cedarburg area and look forward to each of these providers joining eastern Wisconsin’s only academic health network,” said Doug Marx, DO, chief medical officer and vice president, Froedtert & MCW Community Physicians practice group. “The addition of these providers aligns with our efforts within Ozaukee County to enhance and expand primary care access across the region.”

The providers will practice in locations in Kewaskum, Mequon and New Berlin, with plans for the physicians to return to the North Shore area in 2023. Schedules and appointments are now open. For more information visit froedtert.com/doctors.
