FOIA Request to Village of Slinger Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at the Washington County Times have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.

Our aim is to ensure transparency and accountability in public institutions by making such information accessible to the public. As a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news, we believe that access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.

We have requested these records preferably in an electronic format for ease of dissemination and analysis. Given our role in disseminating information to the public, we have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional.

We will continue to keep you updated on this matter as more information becomes available.
