City of West Bend recently issued the following announcement.

The Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday weeks will take place as follows:

Week of December 20-25, 2021

Monday, December 20 | Monday route will be collected

Tuesday, December 21 | Tuesday route will be collected

Wednesday, December 22 | Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected

Thursday, December 23 | HOLIDAY—CLOSED

Friday, December 24 | HOLIDAY—CLOSED

Saturday, December 25 | DROP-OFF YARD—CLOSED

Week of December 27, 2021-January 1, 2022

Monday, December 27 | Monday route will be collected

Tuesday, December 28 | Tuesday route will be collected

Wednesday, December 29 | Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected

Thursday, December 30 | HOLIDAY—CLOSED

Friday, December 31 | HOLIDAY—CLOSED

Saturday, January 1 | DROP-OFF YARD—CLOSED

Residents are asked to please place garbage/recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. as crews are unable to return to locations where garbage was not placed out early enough for collection.

Note: If recycling collection in your area has not been completed during your scheduled day, leave your recycling cart curbside as there may be an unforeseen delay in pickup. Carts not curbside will not be scheduled until your next scheduled collection day.

251 Municipal Drive, West Bend, WI 53095 | Please enter and exit the driveway south of the building.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday | Year Round: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday | Summer: April 1-September 14 | 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fall: September 15-November 1 | 7 a.m. to Sunset, Winter: November 2-March 31 | 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday (Weather Permitting) | March-November | 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Every Saturday), December-February | 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Second and last Saturdays)
