City of Hartford recently issued the following announcement.

OTICE OF SPRING ELECTION 

CITY OF HARTFORD 

April 5, 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the City of Hartford, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the following officers are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  The term for Mayor and Alderpersons begins on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Mayor Timothy Michalak 3 YEARS
Alderperson, District 1 Joseph Fulop 3 YEARS
Alderperson, District 2 Wayne Rusniak 3 YEARS
Alderperson, District 3 Justin Webb 3 YEARS

Information concerning aldermanic district boundaries may be obtained from the City Clerk, 109 N Main St., Hartford, WI  53027.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is Wednesday, December 1, 2021, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the office of the City Clerk.  Nomination papers are available in the City Clerk’s office.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary election is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
