City of Hartford recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Hartford is seeking a qualified, competent person who will provide operational, analytical and mechanical experience to work in the Public Works Department. Applicants must have a CDL license and minimum of 5 years truck and heavy equipment mechanic skills to build, rebuild and repair all parts of automotive equipment; diagnose any mechanical, electrical, and any other breakdown or failure. Welding and/or fabrication skills experience preferred. Applicants should be able to operate a variety of light and heavy equipment used in the maintenance of streets, preferably with snowplowing experience. The City of Hartford has an extensive benefit package and pays $28.00 - $29.18/hour.
