Event Description:
Two couples find their romance interrupted by revenge plotting, mistaken identities and merry madness in this fast-paced adaptation of Shakespeare's classic comedy. Six actors assume the roles of heartfelt Hero and Claudio, witty Beatrice and Benedick, brave Don Pedro, wise Leonato, villainous Don John and a host of other colorful characters. Each Summit Players performance is an accessible 75-minute show preceded by a 45-minute educational workshop, entitled “Inside Shakespeare’s Story: Much Ado About Nothing,” offered to kids and “fun adults.” Additionally, the Friends of Pike Lake present a fish fry accompanying the event. The fish fry starts at 5:00 p.m., the workshop starts at 5:30 p.m., the show starts at 7:00 p.m., and both are completely FREE!
