Six students were taken into custody by the West Bend Police following a brawl that took place in the parking lot of West Bend High School. The altercation involved a 14-year-old girl, two 15-year-old boys, and three 16-year-olds. Authorities clarified that five were arrested on-site, while one who was initially apprehended was later found to have been attempting to intervene in the fight and was subsequently released. The remaining five now face charges of physical abuse of a child.

In a press release, the West Bend Police Department made its stance clear with several statements: "The West Bend Police Department maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to violence or threats of violence in any school setting", "All acts of violence or threats of violence will result in an arrest", "The investigation is ongoing and will continue until all involved are held accountable", and "Three of the five subjects were placed into secure detention on felony charges of Physical Abuse of a Child."

Further details from the police department's press release revealed that: "The fight was broken up by school staff, school police officers, and other responding area law enforcement officers. Five subjects were immediately taken into custody on scene. A sixth subject was located shortly after the incident at his residence and taken into custody. One of the 16-year-old males sustained facial and head injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment via ambulance. The 14-year-old female, one of the 15-year-old males, and the 16-year-old female complained of minor injuries and were also taken to a local hospital for treatment via ambulance. All subjects remained in police custody while receiving initial medical treatment."

The incident attracted attention from 'Libs of TikTok,' a prominent account on social media platform X, which posted: "5 students were arrested after they beat up a white kid at West Bend High School in Wisconsin. He was sent to the hospital with head injuries. They’re facing charges of physical abuse of a child. You won’t see this on the mainstream media."

West Bend Superintendent Jen Wimmer, in a report by Wisconsin Right Now, condemned the violent incident, stating: "Students that act in this manner are removed from school and face additional consequences through referral to law enforcement. Let me be clear, this behavior is not and will not be tolerated in our schools."

According to TMJ4 News, all individuals involved have been processed through the criminal juvenile system and are currently facing felony charges.
