This event highlights ongoing community safety concerns related to traffic incidents and emergency response times. Authorities say prompt action was taken by deputies, Boltonville Fire and First responders, and West Bend Rescue after receiving reports that the driver of a gray SUV was unresponsive.

According to Sgt Cody Seibel, “Upon arrival of first deputies on scene, the driver and sole occupant of the gray SUV was found to be unresponsive. Deputies and first responders attempted life saving measures on the driver but were unsuccessful. The driver of the blue SUV was conscious and alert.” Initial investigation revealed that “the blue SUV was westbound on CTY TK H approaching the intersection of Forest View Rd. The gray SUV was eastbound on CTY TK H and attempted to turn northbound on Forest View Rd in front of the blue SUV, and was hit on the passenger side.”

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded for additional scene documentation. Authorities closed CTY TK H and Forest View Rd for about three-and-a-half hours during emergency response, documentation, and cleanup efforts. The incident remains under investigation.
