MAIN STREET WEST – PULVERIZE & OVERLAY PROJECT
To keep residents aware of construction needs and work in the Main Street West
Pulverize and Overlay Project area, we would like to share an update prior to
construction to the affected residents. Stantec Project Engineer Christian Moring
is available to answer any questions regarding the project. You may contact him

The Village understands that a project like this causes disruptions to everyday
life. We appreciate your patience would like to remind you to drive slowly
through the project area in order to keep yourself and workers safe.
PROJECT TIMELINE
July 16, 2021: Traffic control setup (see attached detour route).
Week of July 19: Pulverizing and grading roadway.
Week of July 26: Excavation and application of first layer of asphalt.
Week of August 2: Application of final layer of asphalt.
Week of August 9: Pavement markings, restoration efforts, and
construction move out.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Residents and businesses along the project route will maintain access
to their driveways throughout the duration of the project.
Mail will not be interrupted during construction.
Main Street West will be closed to through traffic and a detour route will be available.
