Roots and Branches Presents 2021 Business Beautification Awards

City of West Bend recently issued the following announcement.

Each year, Roots and Branches honors businesses in the City of West Bend for their dedication to the appearance of building exteriors and outdoor spaces. This year, Roots and Branches recognized West Bend businesses located in three areas: Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), Barton Commercial Area, and anywhere within the city limits.

“Our committee was pleased to have a record number of nominations this year,” said Amy Johnson, Roots and Branches Executive Director. “West Bend’s business community truly takes pride in offering a beautiful, welcoming appearance.”

2021 Business Beautification Award winners include:

  1. Red House, 530 Walnut Street, Downtown BID
  2. The Chocolate Factory, 1402 S. Main Street
  3. Albiero Plumbing & HVAC, 1940 N. Main Street, Barton Commercial Area
Additional businesses nominated for the award include Do Your Hair Justice, Omicron Family Restaurant, Woodridge Chiropractic Clinic, Dunn Brothers Coffee, Starbucks (18th Avenue), A Conversation Piece | Murphy Media Group, Schmidt Funeral Home, and the Historic Barton Business Association’s Barton Garten.

Each of the winners, along with the eight residential Mayor’s Beautification Award winners, will be honored at the Common Council meeting on Monday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the meeting and join in celebration.
