City of West Bend recently issued the following announcement.

The Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday week will take place as follows: 

• Monday, November 22 | Monday routes will be collected
• Tuesday, November 23 | Tuesday routes will be collected
• Wednesday, November 24 | Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected
• Thursday, November 25 | Holiday, closed for service
• Friday, November 26 | Holiday, closed for service
• Saturday, November 27 |Drop-off Yard open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Residents are asked to please place garbage/recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. as crews are unable to return to locations where garbage was not placed out early enough for collection.

251 Municipal Drive, West Bend, WI 53095 | Please enter and exit the driveway south of the building.

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday | Year Round, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday | Summer (April 1-Sept. 14, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Fall (Sept. 15-Nov 1, 7 a.m. to sunset) and Winter (Nov. 2-Mar. 31, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
• Saturday (Weather Permitting) | March-November (8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., every Saturday) and December-February (8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., second and last Saturdays)
