There were 1,429 students enrolled in Hartford J1 School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 5.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Among the three schools in the Hartford J1 School District, Central Middle School recorded the highest enrollment of 504 students in the 2023-24 school year.
